Western Sydney, NSW | Full-time | Onsite

Lead the Operational Heart of a Purpose-Driven Business

Our client is on a mission to make sustainability mainstream in the salon industry. Partnering with salons across Australia and New Zealand, they recover valuable resources, reduce waste, and deliver circular solutions that create real social and environmental impact.

They're looking for a hands-on Resource Recovery & Warehouse Operations Manager to lead our client's Western Sydney warehouse and resource recovery site, while also managing the performance of their partner depot network across Australia and New Zealand. This is a visible, onsite leadership role - not a remote warehouse management position. You'll be close to the team, across the detail, and responsible for ensuring the site is safe, efficient, organised, customer-ready and performing to a high standard.

About the Role

The Western Sydney site operates as a warehouse, resource recovery hub, fulfilment centre, office, education centre and innovation space. You'll manage the Sydney warehouse team, including supported employees, oversee NSW and ACT resource recovery operations, and lead fulfilment, dispatch, reverse logistics, inventory management, inter-depot stock movements, and freight coordination.

A major part of the role is managing the Australia and New Zealand partner depot network - including depot operators, disability service partners, recycling partners and suppliers - covering partner selection, onboarding, contract negotiation, service-level management, performance reviews and commercial discussions. You'll also manage the operational budget across warehouse, depot, resource recovery and logistics activity, using Salesforce and other systems to maintain strong records, stock visibility,

analytics and impact reporting.

What You'll Be Responsible For

- Leading the Sydney warehouse team and building a safe, productive, inclusive and accountable team culture.
- Managing day-to-day warehouse operations including receiving, sorting, storage, processing, dispatch, inventory and site presentation.
- Overseeing NSW and ACT resource recovery operations, ensuring materials are handled and moved through the correct recovery pathways.
- Leading the Australia and New Zealand partner depot network, including reviews, site visits, transitions, onboarding and contract negotiation.
- Managing depot partners against agreed operating standards, service levels, compliance and safety obligations.
- Managing the approved budget for warehouse, depot, resource recovery and logistics operations.
- Using Salesforce and other systems to maintain accurate records, stock visibility, analytics and reporting.
- Ensuring the site is clean, organised, safe and ready for internal teams, members, partners and visitors.
- Supporting the site as an innovation hub for circular product trials and process improvements.
- Travelling across Australia and New Zealand approximately once per quarter to visit depot partners.

About You

You're a practical, hands-on operations leader who enjoys being onsite, close to the team and across the detail. You know how to run a safe,

organised and high-performing warehouse, and you understand that this site is also a customer, partner, education and innovation workplace - so presentation, professionalism and visitor experience matter just as much as operational performance.

You're commercially minded, tech-savvy and confident using systems and data to improve performance, and you're a calm problem-solver and solid relationship builder who can lead people, manage external partners, negotiate commercially and balance cost, service, safety, quality and impact.

What We're Looking For

- Experience in warehouse operations, logistics, resource recovery or supply chain leadership, including inventory, dispatch, stock control and freight coordination.
- Proven experience leading and developing operational teams in a hands-on, onsite capacity.
- Experience managing operational budgets, partner contracts, service agreements or commercial negotiations
- Solid safety, compliance and quality-control mindset.
- Confident using Salesforce or similar systems to manage reporting, stock visibility and analytics.
- Comfortable travelling across Australia and Current Zealand approximately quarterly, with a genuine passion for sustainability and circular economy outcomes.

Highly Regarded

- Experience working with supported employees, disability employment providers or disability service partners.
- Knowledge of relevant WHS/OHS, industrial relations, employee relations or return-to-work requirements.
- Formal qualifications in business, supply chain, logistics, operations or sustainability.
- Experience leading site tours, education spaces or brand-facing operational environments.
