About Your New Role
Based at our world‑class Military Vehicle Centre of Excellence (MILVEHCOE) in Brisbane with additional opportunities in Melbourne, we’re growing fast and delivering advanced capability for the Australian Defence Force. Our paid 12 week Summer Internship Program runs from November to February and offers:
- Real projects, not coffee runs;
- Hands‑on experience in your chosen field of Engineering;
- Mentoring, feedback and career advice;
- Priority consideration for our Graduate Program;
- Opportunities to stay on part‑time while finishing your degree.
What Qualifications You Should Have

The experience and skillset best suited to this prospect include:
- Students in their penultimate or final year of an engineering degree majoring in:
- Mechanical, Mechatronics, Materials, Aerospace or Industrial Design Engineering
- Electrical, Electronics or Communications Engineering
- Software or Systems Engineering
- Data Analytics, IT or Computer Science
- Business, Supply Chain or Project Management
- You should be free to work full time between 23rd November 2026 and 19th February 2027 with time off over Christmas.
- You need to hold or be eligible to hold an Australian Government Security Clearance (so should have Australian Citizenship).

Next steps
The recruitment process includes a self‑managed online interview and an in‑person Assessment Centre which will include group activities and interviews, as well as the opportunity to meet members of our team and check out MILVEHCOE or the Melbourne office.
