The Role
Reporting to the General Manager Finance and working closely with the CFO, this position plays a critical role in overseeing the organisation's external financial reporting, group consolidation processes, accounting governance framework and corporate control environment. Partnering closely with senior finance stakeholders, you will ensure the integrity of statutory reporting obligations, provide technical accounting guidance across the business, and drive enhancements to reporting processes, controls and finance systems. This role offers broad exposure across the organisation and the prospect to work closely with executive leadership on matters of financial governance, compliance and business performance.
Key Responsibilities - Lead the preparation of half-year and annual statutory financial reports.
- Manage the external audit process and coordinate key stakeholder engagement.
- Oversee group consolidation activities across a complex multi-entity structure.
- Maintain and enhance accounting policies, technical accounting frameworks and financial governance standards.
- Drive the month-end group reporting process, including executive and board reporting.
- Manage impairment testing and support technical accounting assessments.
- Partner with Internal Audit and broader finance teams to strengthen controls and compliance frameworks.
- Identify and implement process improvements, automation initiatives and reporting enhancements.
- Support finance systems optimisation and ongoing transformation initiatives.
About You
You are CA/CPA qualified and bring a strong technical accounting background gained within a listed, large corporate or Big 4 environment. You combine exceptional attention to detail with commercial judgement and are comfortable operating in a complex, highly regulated environment. You are a proactive and collaborative leader who can influence across multiple stakeholder groups while maintaining high standards of governance and financial integrity.

Bring - CA/CPA qualification.
- Big 4 audit and/or listed corporate experience highly regarded.
- Strong statutory reporting and technical accounting expertise.
- Deep understanding of IFRS, financial reporting standards and governance requirements.
- Experience managing complex consolidation and external reporting processes.
- Ability to navigate and influence within large, matrix-style organisations.
- Proven capability driving process improvement and finance transformation initiatives.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
