About the Role

You'll be responsible for the safe, compliant, and efficient transport of woodchip from the mill site to the Port of Portland, completing up to three return loads per day. You'll self-load woodchips, conduct weighbridge checks, and work closely with the operations team to keep production and delivery running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

- Safely transport woodchip to the Port of Portland, completing up to three return loads per day
- Load woodchips in accordance with safe operating procedures and mass and load restraint requirements
- Conduct weighbridge checks and maintain accurate compliance documentation
- Perform daily pre-start inspections and report any defects or safety concerns




- Communicate effectively with the Operations Manager and production team
- Uphold a strong safety culture by identifying hazards and reporting incidents

What We're Looking For

- Current Heavy Combination (HC) licence Essential
- Experience operating loaders or similar mobile plant Essential
- Loader Licence desirable can be obtained through the employer
- Strong commitment to safety, compliance, and attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and able to consistently meet delivery schedules
