DCI Group Pty Ltd are expanding our operations and launching a new division in HDD directional drilling services, and we’re looking for an experienced and motivated Directional Driller to come on board and help lead the charge.
This is a unique opportunity for the right person to step into a lead driller position, build their own crew, and play a key role in shaping the future of this growing arm of our business.
About the Role
You will be responsible for operating directional drilling equipment, overseeing underbore projects, and working closely with management to establish and grow this new division. This is not just another job, it’s a chance to take ownership and grow into a leadership role as we expand our fleet and workload.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in directional drilling;
- Competent operator with strong technical knowledge;
- Experience working with or as an offsider / crew member;
- Ability to work independently and take initiative;
- Leadership qualities and willingness to build and lead your own crew;
- Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship;
- Willingness to train and mentor new staff as the team grows; and
- Availability to interview and commence work at short notice.
