This is a rare opportunity to lead communications for an organisation delivering nationally significant infrastructure, where reputation, stakeholder trust and strategic engagement are central to its long-term success.

Working closely with the Executive Leadership Team, you'll help shape how the organisation engages with customers, government, industry, the media and the broader community during a period of continued transformation. Communications is recognised as a strategic function, and your advice will play an important role in influencing executive decision-making and strengthening organisational reputation.

The Opportunity

As a trusted adviser to the Executive Leadership Team, you will lead the organisation's external communications strategy and oversee a broad corporate affairs portfolio. Operating at the highest levels of the business, you'll shape how the organisation communicates with its most important stakeholders while ensuring communications support long-term strategic objectives.

Success in this role will come from combining strategic thinking with pragmatic execution. You'll provide trusted advice to senior leaders, lead an experienced communications team and build strong relationships across government, industry, media and the wider community.

You'll also play a key role in identifying emerging issues, protecting the organisation's reputation and ensuring communication strategies support business priorities, organisational change and stakeholder confidence.

Key Responsibilities

As Head of Corporate Communications, you will:

- Lead the organisation's external communications strategy.
- Provide strategic communications advice to the Executive Leadership Team.
- Drive integrated communications, media, reputation and stakeholder engagement initiatives.




- Build and maintain trusted relationships with government, industry, media and community stakeholders.
- Lead organisational responses to significant issues and crisis events.
- Drive brand, reputation and corporate affairs initiatives that support long-term organisational objectives.
- Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing communications team.

About You You're an accomplished communications leader with a proven track record of leading corporate communications or corporate affairs within a large, complex organisation.

You combine strategic thinking with exceptional stakeholder management skills and have the credibility to influence executive leaders and Boards on high-profile communications, reputation and engagement matters. You thrive in quick-paced environments, exercise sound commercial judgement and are comfortable navigating complex stakeholder issues with confidence and professionalism.

You'll bring

- Extensive experience leading corporate communications / corporate affairs.
- Expertise across strategic communications, media relations and reputation management.
- A demonstrated ability to influence executive and Board-level stakeholders.
- Proven experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
- Experience working within a regulated environment (highly regarded).
