In response to our continues growth, we have an opportunity for a Business Consultant to join our New Projects Consulting team in Australia or New Zealand. Current Projects specialises in managing end-to-end project lifecycles, ensuring successful implementations, and driving business value for our clients.
TechnologyOne's Curriculum Management solution, enhanced through the acquisition of CourseLoop, provides universities with a unified, data driven platform for designing, governing, and publishing curriculum, giving institutions a single source of truth across the entire academic lifecycle. Its streamlined workflows, -quality assurance- tools, and rich visualisation capabilities help accelerate curriculum approvals and ensure accuracy, while seamless integration with the broader OneEducation ecosystem supports efficient operations and an improved staff and student experience.
What you'll be doing…
As a Business Consultant you will proactively deliver contracted consulting services and drive continuous improvement for our customers across our many products.
Your duties will include:
- Work within a Delivery Team implementing the TechnologyOne Curriculum Management solution for our Education customers
- Working side by side with our customers to lead workshops, gather requirements, deliver training and provide implementation support to customers
- Demonstrating the Curriculum solution to customers
- Performing fit/gap analysis of customer business requirements versus product capabilities along with recommendations for how to use TechnologyOne products to deliver business outcomes
- Maintaining and prioritising requirements and assessing impact of changes
- Establish and maintain engagement with all customers and internal stakeholders as required.
- Support continuous improvement of implementation methodologies, tools, and best practices
- Complete customer program deliverables on time, within project scope and per the negotiated contract/program particulars.
- Basically, you are the face of TechnologyOne to our customers during programs of work, and you will own all the excitement, pressure, and achievement of taking them live!
- Solid understanding of TechnologyOne's Curriculum Management product, or similar software, would be highly regarded
- Strong understanding of curriculum governance, curriculum design processes, and academic approval workflows.
- Problem solving skills and ability to think creatively, effective time management and prioritisation, ability to work productively in fast-paced environments
- Advanced skills in workshop facilitation and requirement elicitation techniques including writing user stories and structuring requirements within an Agile framework
- Customer centric, you're a customer advocate and know how to take a customer on a journey, always delivering a compelling customer experience.
- Experience working in consulting capacity.
- A background with ERP systems, or other complex software products (SaaS products ideally)
