HSE Advisor

Location: Perth WA - DIDO Regional Civil Construction Sites

Roster: 10 Days On / 4 Days Off

Salary: $120,000-$150,000 + Super + Worksite Vehicle

Our client is seeking an experienced and hands-on HSE Advisor in driving a strong safety-first culture across operations in regional WA project sites. To be successful in this role, you must have previous HSE experience working on Main Roads WA Civil Construction Services or similar road and bridge projects. The role suits HSE professionals who thrive in the field, enjoy building relationships with teams, and are passionate about improving health, safety and environmental performance.

You'll be the sort of character who enjoys pitching in on all sorts of activities to get the job done. We looking for all rounder who ideally has some operator and HSE experience in civil construction. A boots-on-the-ground type of HSE officer.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll be a natural at building strong relationships with everyone - across employees, contractors and client representatives. Supporting the HSEQ Manager to ensure compliance with WHS legislation, Civil Construction Service requirements, industry standards, and company procedures. You'll play a key role in ensuring compliance with MRWA and Tier 1 Contractor client requirements, conducting audits and investigations, delivering safety initiatives, HSE admin, supporting operational works and driving continuous improvement across multiple work sites.

Promoting a proactive and positive safety culture across all operational teams. Delivering site inductions, toolbox talks, pre-start meetings and safety awareness initiatives. Conduct site inspections, audits,



risk assessments and contractor reviews.

Investigate incidents and hazards, complete reports using INX software and implement corrective actions. Operate and monitor plant, equipment and work practices to ensure compliance with safety requirements.

What We're Looking For

- Previous HSE experience working on Main Roads WA and Civil Construction projects.
- 3-5+ years' experience in a HSE or similar role within civil construction.
- Certificate IV / Diploma in Work Health & Safety / Occupational Health & Safety or higher.
- Current C Class and ideally HR Driver's Licence
- White Card.
- Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, risk management and behavioural safety.
- Auditor experience within OH&S; management systems.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with site crews, management, subcontractors and client representatives.
- Robust Microsoft Office skills and experience preparing management reports.
- An Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.

Desirable

- Plant operating tickets and/or earthmoving equipment experience.
- HR Driver's Licence.
- First Aid, Traffic Management or Training & Assessment qualifications.
