We are a small MSP providing proactive IT support and managed services to small and medium-sized businesses throughout South East Queensland. We pride ourselves on delivering practical advice, responsive support and long-term relationships with our clients.

We're looking for an experienced Help Desk IT Support Technician who enjoys solving problems, takes ownership of their work, and is comfortable working independently from a home office.

About the Role

You'll provide remote technical support to a diverse range of business clients using modern cloud technologies and remote management tools. While the majority of your work will be performed remotely, you'll occasionally visit client sites to perform installations, onboarding, troubleshooting and project work.

No two days are the same. One moment you may be resolving a Microsoft 365 issue, the next deploying a new Intune-managed laptop, assisting with a network problem or helping a client improve their cybersecurity.

Responsibilities

- Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support via phone, email and remote access.
- Diagnose and resolve Windows, Microsoft 365 and networking issues.
- Support Microsoft Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive.
- Deploy and manage Windows devices using Microsoft Intune.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ticket notes.
- Escalate complex issues where required while taking ownership of customer outcomes.
- Assist with customer onboarding and technology projects.




- Occasionally visit customer sites throughout Brisbane and South East Queensland.

About You You'll be someone who enjoys helping people as much as solving technical problems.

You should have

- Previous experience working in an MSP or IT support environment.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Windows 10/11.
- Experience with Microsoft Intune and Entra ID (desirable).
- Good understanding of TCP/IP networking, Wi-Fi and business internet services.
- Experience supporting desktop hardware, printers and mobile devices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Solid organisational and time management skills.
- The ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- A genuine commitment to providing outstanding customer service.

Essential Requirements

- Current Australian driver's licence.
- Reliable motor vehicle.
- Suitable home office with reliable high-speed internet (Laptop and peripherals supplied) .
- Australian citizenship or unrestricted Australian working rights.

Desirable Skills Experience with any of the following will be highly regarded:

- Microsoft Defender
- Conditional Access and Microsoft security technologies
- SuperOps PSA or similar PSA/RMM platforms

- Ubiquiti networking

- Azure

- Apple Business Manager

- Microsoft Teams Phone

- Navigating Lighthouse
