The Opportunity: Newcastle Anglican has casual opportunities for Registered Nurses & Enrolled Nurses to join its casual pool to work across 3 Anglican Care aged care facilities across the Mid North Coast region ( Taree, Cundletown + Gloucester). You will have the ability to act as a team leader and mentor at ward level, participating in effective teamwork and maintaining communication with colleagues to promote collaboration and facilitate the coordination of person centred care. Your strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills will prove invaluable as you work collaboratively with a range of staff.

Role & Responsibilities:





- Experience in palliative care, knowledge ofAN-ACC and providing high quality care of the ageing people
- Demonstrated experience in leadership of employees
- Excellent time management, an ability to work effectively as an individual and within a team
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Current Drivers Licence

About you?

- Registered Nurse with current registration under the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Proven ability to deliver person centre care that respects the dignity and worth of the individual.
- Drivers licence + own transport
- Be available for 3 days a week - for at least 2 shifts
- National Police Check (Newcastle Anglican will consider the relevance of any reported outcomes)
