ABOUT THE ROLE The House Coordinator is responsible for the effective administration of the

House.

Coordinator works within the spirit of the Newman ethos, as outlined in the Newman Catholic College Mission, Vision and Values statements.

Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that the NCC Charism and

Catholic Values are developed and nurtured within the College community through the House system.



This includes supporting the goals of the College Mission,

Vison and Values, through modelling of personal growth and development and a style of leadership which is based on service.

Coordinator works closely with the Assistant Principal – Religious

Education, Assistant Principal – Students and the College Principal, to ensure that the various dimensions of the College’s faith life are accorded their due prominence.

Coordinator actively seeks and initiates creative ways to embed the

Vision and Charism of the House Patron, developing links between the House

Patron and the Charism of St John Henry Newman. The role requires the House Coordinator to adopt a proactive, visionary and creative approach to designing, implementing and monitoring programs and activities to promote House spirit.

Leader will help students develop a sense of personal responsibility in relation to College policies and expectations, and their place a as a member of Newman Catholic College.

Leader will play an important role in creating, developing and fostering a positive culture within their designated House, which, whilst being unique to the individual house, will encapsulate the vision of the House Patron.
