We are currently seeking experienced HR Truck Drivers with HIAB or truck-mounted crane experience for opportunities with two of our valued clients.
Our clients operate across civil construction support, equipment hire and specialist building services. These positions will involve transporting equipment, materials and specialist components between depots, suppliers and project sites throughout the Perth metropolitan area.

About the Role Depending on the placement, your responsibilities may include:
- Operating HR crane trucks throughout the Perth metropolitan area
- Delivering and collecting equipment, materials and specialist components
- Operating a HIAB or truck-mounted vehicle-loading crane
- Loading and unloading trucks safely at depots and project sites
- Positioning equipment and materials in accordance with site requirements
- Completing pre-start inspections and daily vehicle checks
- Inspecting lifting equipment, chains, slings and restraints
- Securing loads in accordance with load-restraint requirements
- Completing delivery dockets, run sheets and associated paperwork
- Communicating professionally with customers, site supervisors and operations personnel
- Assisting with equipment preparation and general yard duties when required
- Maintaining the truck and associated equipment in a clean and serviceable condition
- Following all site safety, traffic-management and lifting procedures
What You Will Need To be considered,
you will need:
- Current HR Driver’s Licence or higher
- Current Vehicle Loading Crane High Risk Work Licence – CV or higher
- Previous experience operating a HIAB or truck-mounted crane
- Demonstrated experience safely loading, restraining and transporting equipment
- Construction White Card
- A good understanding of lifting procedures and exclusion zones
- The ability to complete vehicle pre-starts and transport documentation
- A strong commitment to workplace safety
- Valuable communication and customer-service skills
- A reliable, punctual and professional approach
- The ability to complete manual and yard-based duties when required
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening
Highly Regarded The following licences and experience will be highly regarded:
- Dogging High Risk Work Licence – DG
- Forklift High Risk Work Licence – LF
- HC Driver’s Licence
- Experience delivering to active construction sites
- Civil construction or equipment-hire experience
- Experience transporting machinery, steel or specialist building components
- Familiarity with Perth metropolitan and industrial areas
