HSE Advisor – Renewable Energy Construction Project

We are seeking an experienced Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Advisor to join our team on a major utility-scale renewable energy construction project in the Riverina region of New South Wales.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a significant infrastructure project while becoming part of a growing team with ongoing career opportunities beyond the initial assignment.

Key Responsibilities

- Promote and maintain a proactive safety culture across the project.
- Conduct site inspections, audits and workplace observations.
- Lead daily pre-starts and toolbox talks.
- Support incident reporting, investigations and corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, project procedures and client requirements.
- Review and assist with risk assessments, Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) and permit systems.
- Maintain accurate HSE records and reporting.
- Provide practical safety advice and coaching to supervisors, employees and subcontractors.




- Monitor environmental compliance and support environmental management initiatives.
- Participate in emergency preparedness activities and continuous improvement programs.

About You

- Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (minimum requirement).
- Previous experience in an HSE Advisor role within construction, civil, infrastructure or renewable energy projects.
- Solid understanding of Australian WHS legislation and industry best practice.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to build positive working relationships across all levels of a project.
- Current White Card and unrestricted Australian Driver's Licence.
- Current First Aid qualification (desirable).
- ICAM or equivalent incident investigation training (desirable).
