About the Role
We are currently seeking a HSE Systems Manager to join our Corporate HSE Governance and Assurance Team. This role is integral to driving continuous improvement of our HSE Management System, ensuring alignment with ISO standards, industry frameworks, and legislative requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and continuous improvement of the Health, Safety and Environmental Management System
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, accreditation standards, and industry requirements
- Manage and lead internal and external audit programs
- Support project and office teams with assurance and governance activities
- Coach and mentor project teams to ensure a high level of understanding and effective implementation of HSE management systems
About You
- Proven experience in systems management within construction, infrastructure, or other high-risk industries
- Strong working knowledge of HSE systems, ISO standards, and FSC accreditation
- Demonstrated experience in leading audits and continuous improvement initiatives
- Solid understanding of Australian legislation and industry standards
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- High attention to detail with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
- A genuine interest in modern safety approaches, with the ability to champion initiatives that build organisational capability and strengthen safety culture
- Relevant Diploma or Degree in Occupational Health & Safety or a related discipline
