Working within a close-knit and collaborative environment, you will act as the trusted advisor on all people-related matters, partnering closely with leadership to deliver practical, business-focused HR solutions. The Role
Reporting directly to the executive leadership team, you will lead the full employee life cycle while driving best-practice HR initiatives across the organisation.
Key responsibilities include
- Providing expert HR advice and guidance to leaders and employees
- Managing employee relations matters, including performance management, investigations, grievances and disciplinary processes
- Leading end-to-end recruitment, onboarding and workforce planning activities
- Driving learning and development, succession planning and talent management initiatives
- Reviewing and enhancing HR policies, procedures and people frameworks
- Managing employment contracts, HR records and workforce reporting
- Partnering with payroll to ensure accurate people data and compliance obligations are met
- Monitoring employment legislation, industrial instruments and workplace compliance requirements
- Supporting organisational change, employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives
- Championing a positive, collaborative and values-driven workplace culture
About You To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Demonstrated experience in a Senior HR Advisor, HR Business Partner, HR Manager or similar standalone HR position
- Strong generalist HR experience across employee relations, recruitment, performance management and compliance
- Sound knowledge of Australian employment legislation and industrial relations frameworks
- Proven ability to build trusted relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong commercial and people acumen
- Experience balancing strategic priorities with day-to-day operational HR responsibilities
- Excellent organisational skills, discretion and attention to detail
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Employment Relations or a related field will be highly regarded.
