We're looking for someone who enjoys solving complex stormwater challenges, takes pride in producing high-quality designs and can confidently work independently. You'll become the technical right-hand to the Hydraulic Engineering Manager, taking ownership of projects from concept through to delivery while helping shape the future of the hydraulic engineering team.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll play a key role delivering projects across residential, commercial and urban development sectors, including:

- Delivering independent stormwater design solutions.
- Developing hydraulic and overland flow models.
- Assessing pre- and post-development stormwater impacts.
- Analysing rainfall, topography, soils and catchment data.
- Identifying flood risks and developing practical engineering solutions.
- Preparing technical reports and supporting documentation.
- Collaborating with planners, architects and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Expanding your experience across Building Hydraulics,



including water supply, sanitary drainage, fire services and gas services.

What We're Looking For This role will suit someone who enjoys being trusted to make technical decisions and doesn't need constant supervision.

You'll ideally bring:

- 5+ years' experience in Hydraulic or Civil Engineering.
- Proven experience delivering stormwater designs independently.
- Strong hydraulic modelling capability.
- Experience using software such as DRAINS, HEC-HMS, SWMM, MIKE SHE, AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArcGIS or QGIS.
- Sound understanding of Australian Standards and local authority requirements.
- Excellent communication skills and the confidence to work directly with clients.
