As our firm continues to grow, we're looking for an Intermediate or Senior Tax Accountant who enjoys working closely with clients, solving problems, and being part of a collaborative team where your contribution is recognised and appreciated.

About the Role

This is a varied role that provides exposure to both compliance and advisory services.

Your responsibilities will include

- Preparing financial statements and income tax returns for all entity types
- Preparing BAS, IAS and other compliance obligations
- Assisting with tax planning
- Identifying opportunities to improve client outcomes
- Working closely with the Partners
- Providing exceptional service while maintaining high technical standards

About You

You'll enjoy working with people, take pride in producing quality work and be motivated to continually develop your technical knowledge.

Ideally you'll have

- At least five years' experience in Australian public practice
- Robust Australian taxation and compliance knowledge
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience managing your own workflow and meeting deadlines
- A proactive, organised and client-focused approach
- Experience with Xero and Microsoft Excel
- Experience with Handisoft (advantageous)
