We are seeking a motivated Intermediate Accountant ready to manage a diverse, high-quality local portfolio. If you want autonomy, direct mentorship from Senior Managers, and a clear path to a Senior role, we want to meet you.

The Role: Beyond the Ledger

Supporting our Senior Managers, you will transition from pure compliance into a trusted client advisor:

· Strategic Compliance: Prepare financial statements, tax returns, and full-suite compliance (GST, FBT, BAS/IAS) for companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals.

· Proactive Tax Planning: Identify tax minimisation strategies and structural improvements during the preparation phase to add real value to clients.

· Client Relationship Management: Lead scheduled face-to-face and digital client meetings to deliver jargon-free financial guidance.

· Tech Optimisation: Utilise Xero and modern cloud accounting ecosystems to streamline workflows and client reporting.

Who You Are

· Experienced: You have 2–4 years of dedicated experience within an Australian public practice firm.

· Qualified (or tracking towards it): You hold an accounting degree and are CA/CPA qualified, or actively studying towards it.

· Tech Savvy: Proficient with Xero, MYOB, or similar cloud-based public practice software.

· An Articulate Communicator: You can translate complex tax codes into plain, actionable English for everyday business owners.
