Our client is seeking an intermediate accountant to join their growing team. Working closely with experienced accountants, you/'ll gain exposure to a broad range of taxation, compliance, business services and SMSF work while building a robust foundation for a long-term career. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated accounting professional looking to expand their technical skills and work directly with a diverse portfolio of clients.

Your new role - Preparation of financial statements and working papers

- Preparation of individual, company and trust tax returns
- BAS preparation and lodgement
- General ledger reviews and reconciliations
- Assisting with annual compliance obligations
- Supporting company and trust administration requirements
- Preparing budgets and forecasts
- Assisting with SMSF accounts, tax returns and compliance requirements




- Preparing audit work papers and supporting year-end SMSF processes
- Payroll processing and bookkeeping support for clients
- Bank reconciliations and transaction processing
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships What you/'ll need to succeed - Accounting degree or equivalent qualification
- Previous public practice accounting experience is essential.
- Exposure to tax compliance and business services accounting
- Understanding of Australian taxation principles and BAS requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
- Experience with accounting software such as Xero, MYOB or similar What you/'ll get in return - Mentorship through CA/CPA
