At ACLE, we're looking for a motivated Junior Project Engineer to work alongside our experienced Project Managers and Construction Delivery teams, supporting the successful delivery of utility-scale Solar and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects across Australia.

About the Role

Reporting to a Project Manager, you'll become an integral member of our project delivery team, providing day-to-day support to both the Project Manager and Construction Delivery team to keep projects running safely, efficiently and on schedule. This is a practical, fast-paced role where you'll be exposed to the commercial, contractual, technical and operational aspects of project delivery. You'll help coordinate subcontractors and suppliers, manage project documentation, track progress, support procurement,



assist with commissioning and contribute to the successful completion of major renewable energy projects.

Your responsibilities will include

- Supporting the Project Manager with the day-to-day coordination and delivery of EPC projects.
- Working closely with site teams to help keep construction activities on schedule.
- Preparing and maintaining project documentation, registers, reports and project records.
- Supporting project planning, scheduling and progress tracking.
- Monitoring project milestones and assisting with risk identification and issue resolution.
- Managing document control, quality documentation and project compliance records.
- Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Assisting with procurement activities, purchase orders and supplier follow-up.
- Assisting with project commissioning, testing and final handover documentation.
- Attending site visits and supporting construction activities as required but this role will be based in Camberwell.
- Building strong working relationships across project teams, clients and contractors.

About You

You're a self-starter who enjoys taking ownership and thrives on keeping things running smoothly.



We're looking for someone who is eager to learn and ready to take the next step in their career within Renewable Project Delivery.

You'll ideally have

- A degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Around 2 years' experience in construction, infrastructure or renewable energy projects.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Confidence working with multiple stakeholders.
- A proactive approach and willingness to take initiative.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, with a focus on Excel essential.
- Wants to develop into an experienced Project Engineer and future Project Manager
- Experience with Autodesk advantageous but not essential.
- The ability to travel to project sites as required.
