Junior Chef / Cook (Part-Time) – Park Pantry (South Yarra)

Park Pantry is looking for a motivated Kitchen hand/ Cook to join our team on a part-time basis.

Located in South Yarra (near Domain Rd), we are a busy, premium café focused on quality food, consistency, and a great customer experience.

Hours

1 Up to 10 hours per week

2 Includes ~5-6 hours across weekends (essential)

3 Café hours only – 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM (no late nights)

About the Role

1 Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment

2 Assist with basic food preparation, including washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients

3 Assist chefs and cooks during busy service periods as required. Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation

4 Support kitchen cleanliness and organisation

5 Follow food safety and hygiene standards

What We’re Looking For

1 Minimum 1 year experience in a café or similar kitchen





2 Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

3 Reliable and punctual

4 Positive attitude and willingness to learn

5 Strong teamwork skills

Nice to Have (but not essential)

1 Experience in brunch-style café menu

2 Basic knowledge of food safety standards
