Kitchenhands– University located in Parkville- VIC

We are looking for enthusiastic & energetic kitchenhands to work with our Residential Tertiary College – Parkville VIC.

We have shifts available to work Monday to Sunday. AM & PM

We have both Part time & Casual vacancies available

You will report to and be instructed by the Head Chef and Venue Manager

Duties include but not limited to:

- Receival of large deliveries of high-risk food items
- Checking the condition and temperature of high-risk food items
- Transporting and storing of food items to and from kitchen storage locations
- Ensuring appropriate food safety forms are completed promptly and accurately
- Cleaning of storage areas and stock rotation of food items
- Removal of boxes and waste from kitchen to designated disposal area




- Washing of dishes and kitchen equipment
- Cleaning of floors- back & front of house
- Emptying of rubbish disposal units
- Following OH&S; guidelines when performing duties
- Basic food preparation and cleaning duties when requested

- Have the ability to perform duties suitably during busy periods.
