About us The Australian Golf Club is a private Member’s Club located in Rosebery. The Club is the oldest Golf Club in Australia, having been originally founded in 1882. The Club prides itself on its history and tradition and expects excellence in service delivery to the Members.

As a team our goal is to provide our members with an exceptional golfing and hospitality experience, while aiming to provide a collaborative and caring environment for our team members to work in.

The role

We are currently seeking Kitchen Hands to join our team and help maintain the high standard of service at the Australian Golf Club.

We have vacancies for casual roles. Shifts will be spread across weekdays and weekends, and our ideal candidate will have availability throughout the week.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

- Assisting in basic food preparation tasks, such as washing, peeling, and chopping ingredients.
- Washing, sanitizing, and storing kitchen utensils, dishes, and equipment.
- Supporting the kitchen team by running errands, fetching ingredients, or helping with plating and food presentation.
- Cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment, including stoves, ovens, grills,



and food processors.

The role would be great for someone looking for a role to utilise their food/kitchen experience in a dedicated and engaged team.

About you

Our ideal candidate would take great pride in the work that they do as a Kitchen-hand, and also have the following skills and qualities:

- Previous experience in a kitchen setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitisation practices.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.
- A great can-do attitude!
