Gledswood Homestead & Winery is seeking a reliable and hardworking Part-Time Kitchen Hand to support our busy kitchen team. From weddings and corporate events to cellar door service and festivals, no two days are the same.

About the Role
As a Kitchen Hand, you'll play an essential role in keeping our kitchen running smoothly by assisting our chefs with food preparation, cleaning and maintaining high hygiene standards.
This is a part-time position with regular shifts available, including weekdays, evenings and weekends.
Key Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, pots, pans and kitchen equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen and food preparation areas.
- Assist chefs with basic food preparation.
- Receive and store deliveries.
- Ensure correct food storage and stock rotation.
- Dispose of waste and recycling safely.
- Assist with kitchen set-up and pack-down.
- Follow Food Safety and Workplace Health & Safety procedures.
- Support the kitchen team during busy service periods.
About You
You'll be someone who
- Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Is reliable, punctual and well presented.
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced team environment.
- Can follow instructions and work efficiently.
- Has excellent attention to detail.
- Is physically fit and capable of standing for extended periods and lifting moderate loads.
- Previous kitchen experience is an advantage but not essential—we're happy to train the right person.

Essential Requirements
- Availability to work weekends, evenings and public holidays.
- Ability to work in Australia.
- Current Food Safety knowledge is desirable (training can be provided).
- Reliable transport is preferred due to our location.
