We are looking for a motivated Labourer / Trade & Construction Assistant to support our construction team across renovation sites throughout Perth. This is not your typical site labourer position. You will be an integral part of the project team, routinely representing the business in a professional manner to clients, assist in site organization and learn the finer details of residential construction while working alongside experienced tradespeople and our construction management team.

About the Role

· Assist tradespeople with day-to-day work on kitchen, bathroom and laundry renovation sites.

· Deliver materials, fixtures, equipment and supplies to job sites.

· Carry out pre-renovation site visits and collect required site information.

· Help prepare, maintain and clean work areas so sites remain safe and organised.

· Load and unload materials and equipment safely.

· Support site supervisors and the wider construction management team with practical site tasks.

· Use mobile devices and basic computer systems to record information, photographs and project updates.

· Communicate professionally with clients, suppliers, trades and internal team members.

· Learn construction sequencing, renovation processes and how surrounding trades work together.

· Act as a qualified face of Elite Makeovers while working on client properties and visiting suppliers.

· A current manual driver's licence.

· Competent and confident reversing and manoeuvring a trailer.

· Excellent verbal, written and telephone communication skills.

· Basic computer skills and confidence using mobile apps and digital systems.

· Physically fit and capable of regular manual handling and site work.

· Reliable, punctual, organised and able to follow instructions.

· Keen to learn, with a genuine interest in construction and residential renovations.

· Comfortable working in a fast-paced and challenging environment.

· A proactive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a qualified team.

Ideal for Building and Construction Students

This role would suit a university or TAFE student studying Construction Management or another building-related course who wants meaningful, hands-on industry experience alongside their studies.
