Role Overview:

Solar Labourer – Renewable Energy Projects

We’re looking for a reliable and motivated Solar Labourer to join our growing team and support our solar installation crews across residential and commercial projects.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll work alongside experienced tradespeople, assist with solar installations, use hand and power tools, and help ensure worksites are safe, clean, and efficient.

Every day is different — you’ll be working outdoors, travelling to various job sites, and gaining valuable experience in the renewable energy industry.

What a Typical Day Looks Like

Your day will involve travelling to solar installation sites, assisting the installation team, preparing materials and equipment, and helping complete projects safely and efficiently.

You’ll work closely with installers and tradespeople, learning new skills while contributing to quality solar installations across the Hunter Valley.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist solar installers and tradespeople with installation tasks
- Carry and prepare materials, tools, and equipment




- Operate hand and power tools safely
- Assist with mounting, cabling, and general installation duties
- Clean and maintain safe worksites
- Load and unload equipment and materials
- Follow safety procedures and site requirements
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

About You We’re looking for someone who is:
- Reliable, hardworking, and keen to learn
- Safety-focused with a positive attitude
- Comfortable working outdoors and performing physical tasks
- Able to work well independently and as part of a team
- Interested in building a career in the solar industry

Requirements
- White Card (required)
- Full Driver Licence (required)
- Experience with tools or construction work preferred
- Solar or electrical experience is an advantage but not essential
