Experienced Gardener / Garden Maintenance Team Member
$33–$40+ per hour + super, depending on experience SceneIt Gardens is growing, and we’re looking for experienced and passionate gardeners to join our team.
We maintain and transform some of Melbourne’s most beautiful residential gardens across Toorak, Canterbury, Brighton, Hawthorn, Kew and surrounding suburbs.
This isn’t just a lawn-mowing role. Our team carries out detailed garden maintenance, precision hedging, large-scale planting, irrigation work and complete garden transformations. Every day brings a different garden, a new challenge and an opportunity to develop your skills.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Detailed garden maintenance
- Hedging, pruning and plant care
- Large-scale planting projects
- Mulching and soil improvement
- Irrigation repairs, installations and troubleshooting
- Lawn care and maintenance
- Garden clean-ups and enhancements
- Assisting with complete garden transformations
- Working alongside an experienced and supportive team
What We’re Looking For
- Previous gardening, horticulture or landscaping experience
- Confidence using mowers, whipper snippers,
hedge trimmers and other gardening equipment
- Good plant knowledge or a willingness to continue learning
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Reliability, punctuality and the ability to work well in a team
- Physical fitness and confidence working outdoors in different weather conditions
- A current driver’s licence is preferred
- Horticultural qualifications are highly regarded but not essential
