The Opportunity

BlueFit is seeking an experienced, dynamic Operations Manager to take charge of day-to-day operations at our brand-new, highly anticipated Payneham Memorial Swimming Centre!





Reporting directly to the Facility Manager, you will oversee our new aquatic and recreation spaces—ensuring elite water quality standards, pristine facility presentation, and rigorous asset maintenance.

This isn't just a back-of-house role! You will be a highly visible leader on the pool deck and around the facility, passionate about delivering safe, inclusive, and exceptional customer experiences from day one.

About You

- Technical Savvy: Deep practical knowledge of plant room operations, water testing, pool chemistry, and facility maintenance.
- Customer & Community Champion: Exceptionally comfortable engaging with patrons and local families on the pool deck to ensure a welcoming, top-tier facility experience.
- A Natural Leader: Proven track record of coaching, managing, and inspiring casual and full-time team members in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-Oriented & Safety First: You take immense pride in maintaining a sparkling clean, safe, and smoothly running facility.
- Launch Ready & Adaptive: Ready to embrace the exciting momentum of a major facility launch, including working flexible hours across weekends and public holidays as required.

Qualifications & Toolkit To hit the ground running at Payneham, you hold (or are ready to obtain):

- Valid South Australian DHS Working with Children Check (WWCC).
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificates.
- Pool Operations Certificate.
- Pool Lifeguard Certification.
