The Opportunity

We are searching for a high-calibre, energetic Facility Manager to take the helm at the brand-current, highly anticipated Payneham Memorial Swimming Centre!





Reporting to the State Manager and backed by our dedicated National Support Team, you will be the operational heartbeat and leader of this state-of-the-art facility. From building a high-performing local team, you will take full ownership of site performance, safety, community engagement, and commercial success.

About You

- A People Champion: Proven track record of leading, mentoring, and inspiring a diverse team across operations, customer service, and aquatics.
- People & Service Lead: Thrives on building genuine connections with local families, patrons, and council partners—equally adept at delivering a warm, customer-first experience
- Ready & Driven: You understand the dynamic rhythm of a major leisure facility opening and are ready to bring the energy required (including operational weekend and holiday coverage during launch phases) to make Payneham a soaring success!
- Commercial & Operational Focus: Experience in budget management, WHS compliance, plant room operations, and driving program growth.

Qualifications & Toolkit To hit the ground running at Payneham, you hold (or are ready to obtain):

- Valid South Australian DHS Working with Children Check (WWCC).
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificates.
- Pool Operations Certificate (or equivalent plant operator experience).
- Pool Lifeguard & Swim Teacher Certifications (highly regarded).
