Licensed Electricians / Electrical Contractors – Smart Meter Installation

Looking for consistent, full-time subcontracting work without chasing customers? Connek is seeking licensed Electricians and Electrical Contractors to join one of Brisbane's largest Smart Meter Upgrade Projects.

Whether you're already working in metering or looking to transition into a high-volume project, we'll provide the training, systems and field support to get you up and running quickly.

What You'll Be Doing

- Smart meter replacements across residential properties
- Working within your allocated Brisbane metro area
- Attending scheduled customer appointments
- Completing installations safely, efficiently and in accordance with industry standards
- Completing Site Specific Risk Assessments (SSRAs)
- Uploading installation photos and required compliance documentation
- Using our iPad/mobile job management system to complete work orders and submit completed jobs
- Delivering excellent customer service on site

Essential Requirements

- Current QLD Electrical Licence
- Current Electrical Contractor Licence
- Current ABN
- Public Liability Insurance (minimum $20 million)
- Vehicle Insurance
- White Card
- CPR & LVR
- Police Check (issued within the last 6 months)
- Reliable work vehicle
- Standard electrical hand tools
- Battery drill
- Strong commitment to safety, compliance and customer service

Metering Qualification Course Codes: UEEEL0013 or UEENEEG171A or UEEEL0078 Accreditation is a MUST. If you don't currently hold the required metering qualification, Connek can assist successful applicants in obtaining the required Metering Course, subject to terms and conditions. This provides a great opportunity for electricians looking to transition into the metering industry.

Work Arrangement This is a full-time subcontractor position, with work available Monday to Friday.
