About the role You will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and support of the organisation’s Linux server environment and associated infrastructure, ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of mission‑critical systems that underpin core business and operational outcomes. Role Responsibilities - Manage virtualised environments (VMware/KVM) and physical systems such as HP OneView and GreenLake.
- Develop system configurations using Ansible, Puppet or Chef, and manage the SOE lifecycle with Kickstart.
- Administer accounts, permissions and authentication services (LDAP and similar), maintaining security compliance.
Qualifications and Experience - Extensive experience with enterprise grade Linux distributions such as RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu and SUSE.
- Strong capability in managing user access and authentication services, including OpenLDAP and similar systems.
- Hands on experience with configuration and deployment tools including Ansible, Puppet and Chef.
