We are looking for a Livestock Farmhand to join our team at Wannon Pastoral Company (WPC). The property runs a 50-50 split between Wairere Romney ewes and Angus cows.

This role is based at Ballyglunin Run (BG), located 10 minutes north of Hamilton. At times the role requires work at our other property, Bellwyn, Coleraine.

WPC strives to operate with best practice livestock and pasture management as well as being a rewarding place to work. WPC is committed to upskilling staff during their employment.

The successful candidate must be motivated and able to work in a team or on their own.

Specific skills required:

- Valid car drivers license.
- Sound stockmanship skills for livestock handling and mustering; good working dogs required.
- Operating farm machinery; eg motorbikes, tractors, mixer, loaders, augers etc.



Checking oils, greasing and basic maintenance
- Fencing: building and maintaining existing fencing

Remuneration:A market-competitive salary package is to be negotiated based on experience. Comfortable 3 bedroom house on farm is included.
