About the Opportunity

As an AMS subcontractor, you will have the prospect to work across a variety of mining, quarrying, and processing operations undertaking:

- FIFO and regional mining projects
- Crushing and screening operations
- Quarry operations
- Plant feeding and stockpile management
- Bulk material handling
- Rehabilitation and earthworks
- Shutdown support
- Long-term operational contracts

Projects range from short-term assignments through to ongoing operational support across multiple client sites.

Scope of Work

Typical duties include, but are not limited to:




- Operating loaders and excavators safely and efficiently across mining and quarry operations
- Feeding crushing and screening plants
- Stockpile management and material blending
- Loading road trains and haul trucks
- Bulk earthworks and rehabilitation activities
- Maintaining production targets while operating safely
- Conducting daily pre-start inspections and reporting defects
- Performing routine operator maintenance and housekeeping
- Working closely with supervisors and maintenance personnel
- Completing all required site documentation and safety requirements
- Representing Adelaide Mining Services professionally on client sites

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must hold:
- Current ABN
- Appropriate Public Liability Insurance
- Workers Compensation Insurance (or applicable exemption)
- Current Driver's Licence
- Relevant Australian working rights
- Demonstrated experience operating Loaders and/or Excavators within mining, quarrying, or heavy industrial environments
- Current Statement of Attainment (VOC) or proven competency on relevant machinery
- Ability to pass site medicals and drug & alcohol testing
- Ability to travel and work FIFO rosters where required
- Strong commitment to workplace health,



safety, and environmental compliance

- Front End Loader Ticket
- Excavator Ticket
- White Card
- Working at Heights
- Confined Space Entry
- HR or MC Driver's Licence
- Skid Steer, Dozer, Grader or Moxy experience
- Mine site inductions
- Experience operating crushing and screening plants
- Experience working within production mining or quarry environments
