The Opportunity:

Hunter Current England Local Health District is seeking a Locum Obstetrics and Gynaecology Registrar to support O&G; services at a regional hospital.

This role is suited to a registrar with recent O&G; experience who is confident supporting antenatal, maternity and gynaecology presentations, ward-based care, clinical reviews and escalation of care when required.

The role includes weekday shifts, with some on-call requirements depending on the roster.

Clinical Environment:

Obstetrics and Gynaecology Registrar role within Hunter New England LHD

Regional hospital setting with varied O&G; exposure

Day shifts with some on-call requirements

Supportive team environment with escalation pathways available

Key Duties:

Support O&G; ward-based care and clinical reviews

Assist with antenatal, maternity and gynaecology presentations

Complete documentation, handover and management plans

Escalate patient concerns appropriately

Work collaboratively with medical, midwifery, nursing and allied health teams

Eligibility Criteria:





Current AHPRA Registration

Recent O&G; registrar-level experience

Ability to participate in on-call shifts

Strong communication and clinical documentation skills

Current CV, references and compliance documents as required
