We're partnering with a leading SaaS organisation that's investing heavily in AI and machine learning and is looking for its first dedicated Machine Learning Engineer. This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of the company's machine learning capability, shape its technical direction, and build intelligent solutions that have a real impact across the business.

As the sole Machine Learning Engineer, you'll have the autonomy to influence architecture, introduce best practices, and drive the adoption of AI technologies. You'll work closely with Software Engineers, Product teams, and business stakeholders, giving you the freedom to innovate while building scalable, production-ready machine learning solutions.

What you'll be doing

You'll own the end-to-end machine learning lifecycle, including:

- Designing, developing, and deploying machine learning models into production.
- Building scalable AI solutions that solve real business problems.
- Preparing, analysing, and transforming data for model development.
- Monitoring model performance, identifying model drift, and continuously improving model accuracy.
- Establishing machine learning engineering standards, tooling, and best practices.
- Working closely with engineering and product teams to integrate AI capabilities across the platform.
- Evaluating new technologies and helping shape the company's long-term AI strategy.
- Documenting solutions and creating a strong foundation for future growth of the ML function.

What we're looking for You'll be someone who enjoys ownership,



thrives on solving complex problems, and is excited by the opportunity to build something from the ground up.

Ideally, you'll have experience with:

- Developing and deploying machine learning models into production environments.
- Python and data science libraries including Pandas and NumPy.
- TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, XGBoost, or similar frameworks.
- Microsoft Azure and cloud-based machine learning services.
- Docker, Kubernetes, and modern deployment practices.
- SQL and NoSQL databases.
- MLOps, Spark, Hadoop, or Kafka experience would be highly regarded.
