PROPERTY MAINTENANCE MANAGER

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced, proactive, and reliable Property Maintenance Manager to join Phillip Island Host as a key member of our team. This is a full-time position managing 100+ short-term rental properties across the Phillip Island region. You will be the boots on the ground—hands-on, independent, and committed to delivering 5-star property standards and exceptional owner and guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Daily property inspections and maintenance checks Performing small maintenance and repairs (plumbing, electrical, appliances, general upkeep)

Gas bottle replacements, bin management, and waste coordination

Purchasing and managing supplies and maintenance materials

Proactive communication with property owners regarding status updates and maintenance issues

Guest communication and problem-solving during stays

Ensuring properties meet our 5-star management standards at all times

Coordinating with our cleaning team and other operational staff

What We Are Looking For

Hands-on, independent worker who can manage multiple properties and tasks without close supervision Experience in property maintenance, property management,



or facilities management

Ability to diagnose and resolve common maintenance issues quickly and effectively

Excellent communication skills—clear, professional, and customer-focused

Strong time management and organizational skills; ability to prioritize across multiple properties

Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering results

Driver's license (essential for the role)

Willingness to work flexibly and respond to urgent maintenance issues as needed
