About the Team

Our Corporate Assurance team in Sydney is looking for an experienced Internal Audit professional to join this excellent team in a top AFR 100 firm.

The Corporate Assurance and Advisory teams of Prosperity Adviser's Group (PAG) offer a comprehensive suite of risk solutions, such as risk consulting and internal audit, to help clients tackle a wide array of challenges, changes, and opportunities.

Your role will involve contributing to the planning, execution, and reporting of various internal audit engagements and risk consulting. Developing strong client relationships and honing your technical and interpersonal abilities will be crucial areas of focus.

What You Will Be Doing

- Assist in developing a highly skilled internal audit and assurance team by providing guidance and mentorship.
- Develop strategic and annual internal audit plans,



perform enterprise-wide risk assessments and conduct framework reviews.
- Develop and review internal audit scopes and risk and control matrices.
- Supervise and conduct fieldwork and prepare high-quality written reports or deliverables, adhering to budgets and timelines.
- Contribute to growth initiatives and business development of the practice by collaborating with Directors and other service lines across the broader PAG team.

What You Will Need to Succeed

- Possess strong experience in process mapping, risk, and control identification.
- Possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly, both written and verbal, at all levels.
- Demonstrate experience working with senior stakeholders across a wide range of clients.
- The successful candidate will come with a strong Risk Consulting background, ideally gained in the professional services industry working across a variety of industries.

You Will Also Need

- Sound experience with IIA Standards and Practices
- Accounting or business-related tertiary qualification(s)
- Tertiary qualified with at least five years of relevant experience in an audit environment.
- Currently pursuing or possessing additional qualifications such as CIA.

You will be based in a up-to-date office in the Sydney CBD overlooking Darling Harbour.
