About the Role

As Marketing Director, you will provide strategic leadership across marketing, communications, publicity, brand, ticketing and audience experience for Perth Festival. You will develop and implement integrated audience growth, brand and engagement strategies that strengthen our reputation, increase attendance,



deepen audience connection and support the Festival’s long‑term sustainability.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and leading a team of six, you will sit on the Executive Leadership Team, contributing directly to organisational strategy, business planning and Festival‑wide decision making.

What You’ll Do

- Lead Perth Festival’s marketing and audience development strategy, driving audience growth, attendance and revenue outcomes.
- Act as custodian of the Perth Festival brand, protecting and enhancing our reputation and public profile.
- Lead communications, publicity and media engagement, managing relationships with media partners and key stakeholders.
