Carlyle Engineering is a third generation, family owned Australian manufacturer and supplier of bakery and kitchen equipment proudly operating for over 150 years. We manufacture our own bakeware range and deliver end to end kitchen fit out for bakeries, hospitality venues and institutional clients nation wide.
We are growing our marketing function and looking for a hands on Marketing Manager who can combine digital marketing expertise with face to face relationship building.
This is a broad, high impact role for someone who wants ownership over the full marketing function - from website and SEO performance through to paid advertising , content production and AI driven video. You'll work closely with our Business Manager, sales team and IT/web contractor to drive qualified leads and measurable sales growth. Experience in government tenders would also be useful.
Key responsibilities will include - Own and optimise our Shopify website, including collection pages, product data and structured schema/SEO. Plan, execute and report on Google Ads and Google Merchant Centre campaigns. Develop and manage AI generated video content (avatar led explainer and product videos) using platforms such as HeyGen and Synthesia. Build and manage marketing campaigns accross SEO, email (Zoho CRM) Linkedin and YouTube.
Use Google Search
Consol and analytics tools to monitor site performance, indexing and search rankings against our compeditors.
Run technical SEO audits and coordinated fixes with our web developer (experience with Screaming Frog would be an advantage). Manage and mentor marketing support staff/contractors. Coordinate across sales, IT and manufacturing departments to keep messaging acurate and aligned. Develop content and campaigns that reflect our manufacturing capability and longstanding industry reputation. Track and report on campaign ROI, lead quality and conversion with accountability for measurable outcomes.
About you - We are looking for someone with a proven track record of marketing driven sales growth in a B2B industrial, manufacturing or trade supply environment. Strong hands on experience with Shopify (or equivelent e-commerce platform). Genuinely AI savv, confident using and evaluating AI marketing tools.
Demonstrated experience with or strong aptitude to quickly master HeyGen, Synthesia, Google Ads, Google Search Consol and SEO tools (Screaming Frog), CRM platforms (Pipedrive), Linkedin and YouTube for B2B content and campaigns. Confident managing multiple stakeholders and coordinating accross departments. Excellent written communication with the ability to translate technical manufacturing detail into transparent, persuasive marketing content.
Self starter comfortable owning a broad remit in a lean team environment.
