Position Description - Marketing Specialist (ANZSCO 225113) Our client is a well-established Australian wholesaler specialising in B2B imports and exports, they supply premium wellness, health, and lifestyle products, specialising in reliable, bulk distribution for Australian and overseas businesses across all major markets around the globe.
They are now seeking an experienced Marketing Specialist to join their team in Archerfield in QLD.
The Role This is a full-time role with an annual salary of $80,000 - $100,000 plus superannuation, and involves the following tasks:
- Research wellness, health and lifestyle market conditions, customer needs, competitor activity, and purchasing trends to identify opportunities for current and existing products.
- Analyse sales, customer, product and campaign data to assess market performance and inform marketing decisions.
- Develop and implement marketing plans for wellness, health and lifestyle products supplied to pharmacies, retailers, hospitals, wellness practitioners and other authorised business customers.
- Advise on pricing strategies and product mix, assessing the impact of pricing decisions on sales performance and profitability.
- Define target customer segments and develop appropriate product positioning, value propositions and marketing messages for each segment.
- Plan and coordinate product launches, portfolio initiatives, and business-to-business campaigns across digital, email, trade and industry channels.
- Prepare campaign briefs and coordinate the production of product guidelines, presentations, email communications, and digital content.
- Collaborate with sales, procurement and supply-chain teams to align marketing activities with customer demand, product availability and commercial priorities.
- Liaise with external suppliers, agencies and vendors to support marketing production and campaign delivery.
- Develop and/or manage website and email content ensuring trade-only materials are restricted to appropriate business and wholesale audiences where required.
- Create, schedule and publish content across the company website and social media platforms, and recommend updates to improve search engine optimisation (SEO) and digital performance.
- Monitor campaign outcomes using agreed measures such as engagement, enquiries, customer acquisition, product uptake, and return on marketing expenditure.
- Prepare reports and recommendations for management on market opportunities, campaign performance, portfolio development and future marketing investment.
Required Experience
- A Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing
- At least 5 years of relevant marketing experience in the B2B sector
- At least 5 years' experience in brand management and marketing
- At least 5 years of experience in digital and traditional marketing in a commercial role
- At least 5 years of experience social and digital marketing
- At least 5 years of proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, and Google Ads
- At least 5 years of SEO experience in content optimization
- At least 5 years of experience in UX/UI digital marketing calibration
- Strong analytical skills with experience in reporting, forecasting, and performance tracking.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team to achieve marketing objectives
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
