The Role
As an Emergency Safety Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective delivery of emergency response capabilities at Osborne. This position operates on a rotating shift roster covering 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Flexibility and reliability are essential.

Location
Osborne Naval Shipyard, SA - land based.

Essential Qualifications

- PUAFIR207 - Operate Breathing Apparatus Open Circuit
- RIIWHS202E - Enter and work in confined spaces
- PUAFER008 - Confine small emergencies in a facility
- MSMWHS217 - Gas Test Atmospheres
- RIIWHS204E - Work Safely at Heights




- HLTAID014 - Advanced First Aid & CPR
- CPCCWHS1001 - White Card
- Intermediate Fire Fighting including:
- PUAFIR203 - Respond to Urban Fire
- RIIERR201E - Conduct Fire Team Operations and
- RIIRIS201D - Conduct local risk control

- National Police Clearance (issued within the last 3 months)
- Australian Citizenship
- Currently hold or ability to gain NSSIC
- Currently hold or ability to gain NV1 security clearance

Bonus Skills and Qualifications

- Certificate III in Public Safety or Certificate III in Emergency Response and Rescue
- Advanced Firefighting
- Defence or maritime experience
