The Roles

Due to continued growth, our client is seeking both Mechanical Engineers and Mechanical Design Engineers to support a range of engineering and product development programs. MECHANICAL ENGINEER Responsibilities · Develop and implement mechanical engineering solutions · Produce technical documentation, reports, calculations,



and specifications · Support integration activities across multiple engineering disciplines · Participate in testing, validation, and system verification activities · Undertake root cause investigations and provide corrective actions · Assist with engineering change management processes · Support manufacturing and production teams with technical advice · Contribute to risk assessments and engineering reviews · Ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements · Participate in ongoing improvement initiatives Essential Requirements · Mechanical engineering experience within complex manufacturing or vehicle environments · Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications · Experience supporting testing and engineering investigations · Strong analytical and problem-solving capability · Experience working within multidisciplinary teams · Australian Citizenship · Highly Regarded · Systems integration experience · Product lifecycle management exposure · Configuration management experience · Existing security clearance MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER Responsibilities · Design mechanical systems, assemblies, and components using 3D CAD software · Produce detailed manufacturing drawings and Bills of Materials (BOMs) · Perform calculations, tolerance assessments, and material selection activities · Develop designs that support manufacturability, reliability,



and maintainability · Support prototype build programs and design validation activities · Participate in design reviews and optimisation workshops · Work closely with suppliers and manufacturing teams to resolve design issues · Maintain configuration control throughout the product lifecycle · Ensure design compliance with technical and customer requirements · Provide technical support during production and implementation phases Essential Requirements · Experience using CAD software such as Creo, SolidWorks, CATIA, NX, or Inventor · Experience creating manufacturing drawings and BOMs · Strong understanding of GD&T; principles · Experience designing mechanical components or assemblies · Knowledge of engineering documentation processes · Australian Citizenship Highly Regarded · Vehicle or complex manufacturing design background · Prototype development and testing experience · Experience within configuration-controlled environments · Existing security clearance Talented, committed, can-do individuals have always been the cornerstone of this dynamic organisation.
