Mechanical Fitters - Marine Projects | Henderson WA

Airswift is currently partnering with a leading WA engineering company to recruit Mechanical Fitters for ongoing marine and defence-related projects based in Henderson. These positions offer consistent work, overtime opportunities and the chance to work on specialised marine equipment while being home every night. No FIFO.

About the Role

Working within a busy marine and industrial workshop environment, you will be responsible for:

- Mechanical fitting, maintenance and repair of marine equipment and machinery
- Installation, alignment and realignment of mechanical components
- Working on shafts, gearboxes, couplings and rotating equipment
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
- Supporting project delivery across marine and defence sectors
- Working closely with trades and project teams to maintain safe and effective operations

What You'll Need

- Mechanical Fitter Trade Qualification

- Experience working with
- Shafts
- Gearboxes
- Mechanical alignments and realignments
- Rotating equipment

- Strong commitment to safety and quality
- Team-focused attitude and willingness to work across different trades and departments

- Current Driver's Licence




- Current National Police Clearance or willingness to obtain one
