The Opportunity An excellent opportunity exists for an Mechanical Fitter to join a growing manufacturing team, assembling high quality mechanical pipe systems for major industrial projects. Working in a modern workshop setting, you’ll be responsible for mechanical assembly, fitting and quality inspections while ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities - Assemble mechanical pipe systems and components in accordance with engineering drawings and work instructions - Read and interpret technical drawings, assembly instructions and specifications - Conduct incoming material inspections and complete associated documentation - Perform mechanical fitting, assembly and pressure testing to meet quality standards - Carry out quality inspections and ensure completed assemblies meet specifications prior to dispatch - Identify opportunities to improve assembly processes,
