About the Role

We're looking for experienced Mechanical (HVAC) Plumbers to join our team delivering mechanical services pipework on major commercial and healthcare projects across NSW. You'll install, test, and commission pipework systems alongside a skilled team, working to the standards our Tier 1 clients expect.

What You'll Do

- Install, test, and commission mechanical services pipework, including chilled water, condenser water, and heating hot water systems
- Fabricate, cut, thread, and join steel and copper pipework to specification
- Interpret mechanical services drawings and specifications accurately
- Carry out pressure testing, flushing, and commissioning in line with project and manufacturer requirements
- Ensure all work complies with the NCC and relevant Australian Standards (e.g. AS 4041 – Pressure Piping)
- Work collaboratively with other trades, subcontractors,



and supervisors to meet project programme
- Maintain accurate site records, ITPs, and compliance documentation
- Follow site-specific WHS requirements at all times

Skills & Experience

- Trade-qualified Mechanical (HVAC) Plumber with proven commercial and/or healthcare project experience
- Confident working with steel and copper pipe systems and jointing methods (screwed, flanged, grooved, brazed)
- Sound understanding of mechanical services systems — chilled water, condenser water, heating hot water, and associated plant
- Ability to read and work from mechanical services drawings, specifications, and Australian Standards
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work well within a multi-trade Tier 1 site team
- Solid communication skills and ability to take direction from supervisors and project management
- Own hand tools

Licensing & Compliance (NSW) — Required

- Certificate III in Plumbing (Mechanical Services), or Certificate III in Plumbing
- Current NSW Mechanical Services Licence/Certificate, issued by NSW Fair Trading / Building Commission NSW under the Home Building Act 1989
- Valid NSW driver's licence
- General Construction Induction Training (White Card)

Desirable (Not Essential)

- TIG and/or Arc welding — tickets and/or demonstrated experience are highly regarded but not required
- Working at Heights and/or Confined Space tickets
- EWP licence
- Medical Gases licence or experience — an advantage given our broader service offering across Mechanical, Medical Gases, Hydraulics, and Fire
