Membership Consultant (Sales) – Powerhouse Gym Southside

About the Role Are you a salesperson who loves fitness and wants a role where your effort directly drives your income? This is a sales role at heart, built for someone hungry to earn and ready to grow with a club that’s expanding.

You’ll step into a steady flow of leads and own the membership journey from first enquiry to welcoming new members through the door. You’ll run consultative tours that uncover what people really want from their training, and close memberships that stick. If you follow up when others give up, track your own conversion, and treat a target as a floor rather than a ceiling, this is where you’ll thrive, and where you’ll be rewarded for it.

You’ll work directly with the owners, bring your own ideas on how to sell smarter, and help grow one of Brisbane Southside’s most established fitness communities. As we expand across the network, the people who perform here are first in line for what comes next.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Working a healthy pipeline of leads and following up until they convert or clearly don’t
- Running consultative tours and presentations that surface a prospect’s real goals before you ever talk price
- Hitting and beating explicit sales targets through proactive outreach and disciplined follow-up
- Keeping the CRM clean and current, so every lead, note, and follow-up is logged and nothing slips
- Adding your own community and lead-generation ideas on top of what’s already coming in
- Working with the owners on campaigns and offers that give you even more to sell
- Feeding back what’s working on the floor so we keep sharpening the experience

What We’re Looking For Someone who can sell, wants to sell, and takes ownership of their results,



with a real love for fitness and helping people change their lives. Fast-paced suits you, targets motivate you, and a “no” doesn’t rattle you.

You’ll bring:

- A track record in sales, ideally consultative or membership and service based, with a real story about a number you hit and how you got there
- Follow-up discipline and comfort working to daily activity and conversion metrics
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, and the read on people to guide a conversation toward a decision
- Confidence in a CRM and general Microsoft Office competence
- Coachability, meaning you want feedback and act on it
- A genuine passion for fitness and a healthy lifestyle, because you’ll be selling it every day
