The Health

Centre opened mid-2022 and is a large facility. It services approximately 7000 military personnel, including trainee officers from both ADFA and Royal Military College. There is a 24-bed low dependency ward whichoperates24/7. Services provided include primary medical, aviation & underwater medical, nursing, dental, mental health,pharmaceuticaland physiotherapy.

Defence Force

Recruitment for medical officers is in addition to health centre roles. Standard hours of operation aregenerally 0800-1600Monday to Friday (depending on role requirements and specific craft groupsrequiredfor weekend and on-call shifts).



This role is working Day shift Monday, Wednesday and Friday and working 1200 to 2000 on Tuesday and Thursday. What you’ll do - Deliver high-qualitymental healthcare to Defence members - Conductingfitness-for-duty assessments and pre/post-deployment care.

- Undertaking assessments,interventions,managing medications,formulating treatment and care plansfor individuals and groupeducation sessions - Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary clinical environmentwhere patientwellness is paramount What you bring - Unrestricted AHPRA registration as aRegistered Nurse - One of the following:
