It is home to Fleet Support Unit South-East (FSU-SE) which conducts maintenance on ships and submarines. The health centre provides primary medical, aviation & underwater medical, outpatients, nursing, dental, mental health, pharmaceutical and physiotherapy services to the ADF population. This mid-size health centre has up to 4,500 members and provides services for overseas visiting personnel.

Standard operating hours are 0730-1530 Monday-Friday. What you’ll do - Deliver high-quality mental health care to Defence members - C onductingfitness-for-duty assessments and pre/post-deployment care .





- U ndertaking assessments, in tervention s, managing medications, formulating treatment and care plans for individuals and group education sessions - Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary clinical environmentwhere patientwellness is paramount - occasion travel required to go to Waterhen, Penguin & Richmond during working hours in defence Vehicle - telehealth not clinical setting, its an office setting - Admin/Case Management Position What you bring - Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse - One of the following:
- ACMHNcredentialed - Graduate Diploma in Mental Health Nursing - Mental Health trained nurse /UKtrained undergraduate Mental Health Nurse - Minimum two years’ Post RN general registration experience within last five yearsin mental health within a Primary Healthcare Setting or Specialist Mental Health Setting - Comprehensive assessment skills and experience in‘Focussed Psychological Strategies’ and ‘Psychological Therapy’ asperMedicare Schedule - Current CPR certification (HLTAID009) - Australian Citizenship required to obtain Baseline Security Clearance - Commitment to CPD and ethical, patient-centred care Who we are Serco supports governments by delivering essential services across defence, health, justice, maritime and community services.
