The Role

As an MET Technician / Strip Fitter, you'll be responsible for dismantling, repairing and reassembling accident-damaged vehicles to manufacturer specifications. Working alongside experienced Panel Beaters and Paint Sprayers, you'll ensure every repair is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest possible standard.

Your Responsibilities - Strip and refit mechanical, electrical and trim components on accident-damaged vehicles.

- Carry out repairs using manufacturer-approved repair methods and the latest equipment.
- Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults where required.




- Ensure all repairs are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Work efficiently within a busy, fast-paced accident repair centre.
- Work closely with the wider bodyshop team to maintain an efficient repair process.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.

What We're Looking For - Previous experience as an MET Technician, Strip Fitter or Bodyshop Technician within a busy accident repair centre.

- Recognised apprenticeship with an NVQ, VCQ, SVQ, ATA or equivalent qualification.
- Excellent knowledge of modern vehicle repair techniques.
- Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills.
- High attention to detail with pride in producing quality workmanship.
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and excellent team-working skills.
- Ability to work efficiently while maintaining exceptional standards. What's On Offer - Realistic OTE of £45,000.
