The opportunity:

LeasePLUS is part of the LeasePLUS Group. For almost 25 years the group has delivered salary packaging and novated leasing programs across Australia. Our clients include government departments, major health services, and large employers who trust us to manage complex employee benefit programs used by thousands of people every day.

We are growing our engineering team and are looking for a capable Mobile App & Front-End Developer to own our Flutter applications end-to-end. This is a hands-on position for a developer who enjoys production software that genuinely matters to its users, alongside a small team that is actively investing in improving its engineering capability — better testing, better observability, better pipelines.

You will work closely with product, design, and backend developers to build and support our mobile and web applications, with a strong focus on release quality and app performance.

The role:

This role is responsible for end-to-end ownership of our mobile applications, alongside front-end web development and the pipelines that support them.

- Build and maintain Flutter mobile applications for iOS and Android (our My+ app)
- Develop front-end web features using modern JavaScript frameworks (React or similar)
- Integrate REST APIs, third-party services, and analytics tools
- Manage app deployments, versioning, and App Store / Google Play releases
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for mobile builds within our Azure DevOps environment
- Introduce automated testing, and help build out our automated testing practices as we grow them
- Monitor app health, crash reports, and usage analytics (Firebase or similar)
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical discussions
- Collaborate with on-site product, design, and engineering teams

About you: You are a mobile-first developer who enjoys ownership, cares about UI polish, and is comfortable working across the stack from native mobile through to the web.





Your core experience:

- Solid commercial experience building Flutter apps for iOS and Android
- Strong Dart skills and a genuine feel for mobile UI patterns
- Hands-on experience with front-end web development (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React or similar)
- Proven ability to manage App Store and Google Play submissions and release cycles
- Experience with Git-based version control (Gitflow or similar branching model)
- Experience working in Agile teams using Jira and Confluence

Your knowledge:

- Experience with CI/CD tooling for mobile — Azure DevOps, Fastlane, GitHub Actions, Bitrise, or similar
- Experience deploying applications to Azure (AWS/GCP experience also valued)
- Experience managing development, staging, and production environments

What is desirable:

- Flutter Web experience
- Backend or full-stack exposure (.NET or similar)
- Experience setting up crash reporting, APM, or logging pipelines from scratch
- Experience using AI development tools (e.g. Claude, GitHub Copilot) to accelerate and improve day-to-day development
